Love this. I know I’m in the minority now (despite these two companies being the “hot” deals of 2010, funny how VC works) but I still love Bump and Venmo for p2p money / data transfer.

A good portion of the cash will go to the founders, who don’t have an operational role at the company. Meanwhile, the deal frees up new options for the team. The rest of the cash will juice sales and marketing, hire some engineers to build new features, and maybe buy a smaller complementary company or two, Braccia says. With investments in 99designs ($35M), Squarespace ($38.5M), and Atlassian...

The microwave in my house suddenly started not working at times — the sensor would occasionally trip or it would just reset itself — and that’s just not acceptable.
