Transit Wireless will launch its long-delayed pilot program to test cellular service in several New York City subway stations on September 27. The pilot kicks off in four Chelsea-based stations (A, C, E, F, L, and M lines), where AT&T and Verizon Wireless customers will be able access voice and data services from the platform, but not in the tunnels.
