    I love that grown-ups are so baffled by this.

    (and for the record, there’s never been anything “boring” about the high-five.)

    I don’t see how this is any different than when I was in middle school.  Hugs are important.  Hugs make me smile.  When I was in college I met a guy who gave the most amazing hugs.  I had a huge crush on him for months because of his hugging abilities.

    Until I found out he was gay.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.
