If this was a one-time issue, I’d completely agree with you. I have a very very low traffic tumblog and I have 103 emails from wasitup.com since June 10, 2010 regardin downtime on my blog. I realize that lately the issue has gotten worse, but something really needs to be done. This is an ongoing issue that gives me the impression that they are incompetent and / or ignorant, so I figured the tumblr community could help them understand how important it is to keep people’s sites up and running.
Everyone with a tumblr site should use http://wasitup.com and start forwarding their emails to support@tumblr.com so they *fix* their uptime issues once and for all. Who’s with me?
