    Facebook using your face in their ads.

    Facebook has agreed to let a third party advertisers use your posted pictures without your permission.

    Click on SETTINGS up at the top where you see the log out link. Select PRIVACY. Then select NEWS FEEDS AND WALL. Next select the tab that reads FACE BOOK ADS. There is a drop down box, select NO ONE. Then SAVE your changes. (via @chrisdimare)

    I’ve seen this posted a couple of places now, but is it really true? Can someone point to a paragraph in the Facebook TOS that allows this? Or a press release? The drop down box - for me - has only two options: No One and Only My Friends. That seems pretty clear, and I don’t think Facebook would straight out lie. If they were to lie, then selecting No One would also be ineffective (theorectically).

    I just want to make sure this isn’t some FUD campaign by anti-Facebook types.
