    I’ve been holding off on this because it’s been a difficult question for me to answer. I love brussel sprouts (when not over-boiled), broccoli, spinach, and butter lettuce.

    My favorite is probably rainbow chard, prepared like this:

    1. Heat equal parts olive oil and butter in a pan.
    2. Add in minced garlic and some crushed red pepper flakes.
    3. When garlic is fragrant, throw in chard (cut into bite size pieces) and cover.
    4. Serve after 5-8 minutes, while chard still has bright color.

    I made this last year for my Valentine’s Day supper club dinner (served along side braised beef short ribs and creamy polenta). Soooo good.
