Today I went to Shopsin’s for breakfast after hearing about it from a friend and then staying up all night watching the documentary “I Like Killing Flies” and reading the hilariously schizophrenic reviews on Yelp. Had the egg and cheese sandwich on ciabatta with green chilis and it was amazing. Would have taken a photo but apparently they kick you out if you try (among other things — you should really make yourself aware of the rules of the joint before you go). Kenny Shopsin was sitting behind me chatting with customers about a whole bunch of topics, so I pretended to read my book while eavesdropping.
Sounds like the kinda place the NYC Tumblr foodies group needs to visit!
