I created little thumbnail pages for sketching out Tumblr layouts. I always get caught up in recreating the whole page.
I use Balsamiq Mockups for quick wireframe sketches. You can save templates to easily do the same. Just make sure to turn off the stupid Comic Sans font and the distracting “Notebook” background wallpaper.
