    One more quickie

    Jacob, did you try getting rid of the lime green background on the dashboard right column? It seems:

    1. Too boxy. You’ve got a square corner box inside of a larger rounded corner box.
    2. Too bright. Yes, everyone is excited about being able to see your likes. But is it really worth distracting people from the main content? It is not a call to action, like Amazon’s add to cart Buy Box is.

    I think if you applied the same design treatment to that area as you do directly below, the design would look more cohesive.

    Update: I see. You are using the green box as a selector, in the case where you might click to just see your tumblog in your dashboard. I still think something more subdued would work, maybe like the light background you use for the rotating FAQ (and removing it from the rotating FAQ, because it doesn’t need it. The different font treatment is sufficient, I think.)
